Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is instrumental in shaping the future success of Concord Group Insurance. Reporting to the Senior Talent Acquisition Lead, this role transcends conventional recruiting by serving as a talent magnet, sourcing authority, and essential collaborator with the HR department and organizational leaders. This position oversees the complete recruitment cycle across a competitive multi-state area, devising and executing sourcing strategies to attract exceptional talent for diverse roles within the organization. Furthermore, this role will actively participate in implementing college recruitment initiatives and nurturing partnerships with educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and assess candidates to establish talent pipelines utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, direct outreach to targeted prospects, and leveraging industry networks.
- Coordinate interviews for qualified candidates across various departments and levels, including internships, entry-level positions, and seasoned professionals.
- Draft and extend job offers, manage negotiations, and prepare offer documentation.
- Clearly articulate our value proposition and position specifics, including eligibility criteria, responsibilities, schedule, benefits, and compensation to candidates.
- Execute campus recruitment strategies to draw top talent from colleges and universities.
- Foster and maintain relationships with career services, faculty, and student organizations at targeted institutions.
- Design and deliver presentations and workshops to inform students about career opportunities and the company’s culture and values.
- Organize and participate in campus events such as career fairs, information sessions, and other related activities.
- Oversee the recruitment process for all potential interns.
- Ensure accurate documentation, including candidate status in the Talent Acquisition System, interview notes, reference checks, hiring decisions, and monthly reporting metrics in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Uphold a positive candidate experience through timely and professional communication throughout the recruitment process, while actively representing the organization at networking events, conferences, and industry gatherings.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; 2 to 5 years of direct full-cycle recruiting experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in campus recruitment is preferred.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, whether in person, on the phone, or electronically.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple searches and priorities concurrently.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to formulate thoughtful and appropriate responses.
- Attention to detail for precise data collection and metrics.
- Ability to adapt swiftly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and operate with discretion and integrity.
- Proven experience in designing and executing various sourcing strategies, including direct targeting, for a range of positions and levels within an organization.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; ability to navigate web-based platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Workable, and other sourcing tools.
