Your Responsibilities:

As a Senior Financial Strategist, you will oversee the forecasting and closing processes for the Burt's Bees Strategic Business Unit (SBU) while collaborating closely with finance teams, cross-functional partners, and business unit leadership.


Key Duties Include:
  • Managing all Close, Forecast, and Gap Management processes for Burt's Bees, ensuring timely and precise completion of deliverables.
  • Providing clear and accurate analysis of business drivers, challenging assumptions, and identifying risks and opportunities for profit enhancement.
  • Developing a high-performing team by coaching and mentoring a direct report, setting achievable goals, and fostering an inclusive environment.
  • Identifying and implementing sustainable process improvements that enhance business insights and financial outcomes.
  • Conducting financial analyses for business proposals, including new product launches and pricing strategies.
  • Supporting decision-making by communicating key assumptions, opportunities, and risks associated with proposals.
  • Leading long-term planning processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop balanced strategies.
  • Maintaining a robust internal control environment by documenting key activities and ensuring compliance with established protocols.

What We Seek:

We are looking for candidates with:

  • 5+ years of comprehensive finance and accounting experience, preferably in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; an MBA is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills essential for success in this role.
  • The ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to build strong relationships across all organizational levels.
  • A proactive approach with creative problem-solving abilities.
  • The capacity to take ownership and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other applications such as SAP, Excel, Essbase, BW, and Power BI.

Work Environment:

This position offers a hybrid work model, combining on-site and remote work.
