We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to spearhead our omnichannel List product and associated Planning functionalities. This role is pivotal in driving our digital transformation initiatives.
Role Objective
The Senior Product Manager will play a crucial role in redefining the grocery shopping experience by leveraging digital advancements. The Product Management team is tasked with utilizing technology to create exceptional omnichannel customer interactions and optimize investment returns.
This position will focus on enhancing our shopping list features and trip planning tools, aiming to elevate customer satisfaction and engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of consumer challenges and needs in the shopping planning journey, utilizing data insights, customer feedback, and comprehensive research methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advocate for customer, business, and stakeholder needs throughout the agile development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Analyze product performance and customer data to identify improvement opportunities, effectively communicating insights and metrics to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with diverse internal and external sources to define product concepts, respond to customer needs, and evaluate market trends.
- Utilize AI and machine learning technologies to develop intelligent list-building features that adapt to customer preferences.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration during the product development process, prioritizing features and overseeing deployment activities.
- Anticipate project impacts and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation of new features.
- Identify research needs and collaborate with user experience teams to validate designs through testing and feedback.
- Influence and engage with stakeholders, securing necessary approvals for product initiatives.
- Communicate product solutions and benefits effectively to customers and stakeholders, ensuring knowledge transfer for ongoing feature management.
- Develop business cases with financial models to demonstrate the value of new features, presenting concepts persuasively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 7+ years of experience in product management within eCommerce, retail technology, or related sectors.
- Strong passion for product development and problem-solving.
- Data-driven mindset with excellent prioritization and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and align teams around a unified product vision.
- Experience leading the product lifecycle from strategy to execution for digital customer-facing capabilities.
- Technical proficiency in translating user needs into actionable requirements in an agile setting.
- Experience in usability and customer-centric design is a plus.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation methodologies is advantageous.
Experience Requirements:
- Demonstrated success in delivering exceptional customer experiences that drive value.
- Ability to create a comprehensive product vision supported by data analysis and strategic prioritization.
- Experience collaborating with both onshore and offshore engineering teams to ensure quality feature delivery.
- Technical knowledge in mobile SDK implementation, analytics tagging, and compliance standards.
- Comfortable discussing technical concepts and evaluating opportunities with technical teams.
- Preferred experience in mobile app product management.
