JOB SUMMARY

The Technology Lead will spearhead the integration and enhancement of technological solutions across our organization and construction initiatives. This position entails orchestrating collaboration between corporate IT, operational teams, and various departments to maximize the effective use of technology tools. The Technology Lead will cultivate a proactive and self-sufficient IT team within the operational framework, enhancing productivity and operational efficiency. They will oversee ongoing technology optimization throughout the company, utilizing expertise in contemporary construction technology trends, software, and platforms to enhance operational effectiveness, streamline workflows, and ensure the successful delivery of technology projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage corporate technology operations and provide expert technical guidance across the organization.
  • Lead the evaluation and development of technology solutions within the company.
  • Stay abreast of advancements and trends in construction technology, software, and platforms.
  • Assess the current technological infrastructure and identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend construction management software and platforms to improve project efficiency and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand their technological requirements and challenges.
  • Formulate and implement strategies to seamlessly integrate technology solutions into construction projects.
  • Oversee the implementation and deployment of construction management software, including various leading platforms and data management tools.
  • Provide training and support to staff, ensuring proficiency in utilizing technology solutions effectively.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance of construction technology systems, troubleshooting issues as needed.
  • Analyze data from various construction technology platforms to derive insights and enhance decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards pertaining to construction technology.

Job Skills & Abilities Guidelines:

  • Proficiency in construction management software and platforms, including various leading tools.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.

Education and/or Experience:

- Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering, construction management, construction technology, engineering, computer science, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.

3 – 7 years of demonstrated experience in a similar capacity within the construction sector, with a comprehensive understanding of construction processes and workflows.
