JOB SUMMARY

The Technology Lead will spearhead the enhancement and integration of technological solutions across our organization and construction initiatives. This role requires effective collaboration between corporate IT, operational teams, and various departments to ensure optimal utilization of technology tools. The Technology Lead will cultivate a proactive and self-sufficient IT team within the operational sector, driving productivity and efficiency. They will oversee ongoing technology enhancements throughout the organization, utilizing knowledge of the latest trends in construction technology, software, and platforms to boost operational effectiveness and streamline processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage corporate technology operations and provide expert technical guidance across the organization.
  • Lead the evaluation and development of innovative technology solutions within the company.
  • Stay informed about advancements and trends in construction technology, software, and platforms.
  • Assess the current technological infrastructure and identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend construction management software and platforms to improve project efficiency and collaboration.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand their technological requirements and challenges.
  • Design and implement strategies for seamless integration of technology solutions into construction projects.
  • Oversee the deployment of construction management software, including HCSS, Viewpoint Spectrum, Trimble One Project Management, data warehouses, and dashboards.
  • Provide training and support to staff, ensuring proficiency in utilizing technology solutions effectively.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance of construction technology systems, troubleshooting issues as necessary.
  • Analyze data from various construction technology platforms to derive insights and enhance decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards pertaining to construction technology.

Job Skills & Abilities Guidelines:

  • Proficiency in construction management software and platforms, including Viewpoint Trimble One, Spectrum, Plangrid, HCSS platform, Toric data warehouse or equivalent, Power BI, Power Automate, Office 365 Suite, Sharepoint, Tableau, and dashboard tools.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.

Education and/or Experience:

- Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering, construction management, construction technology, engineering, computer science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

3 – 7 years of demonstrated experience in a similar capacity within the construction sector, with a comprehensive understanding of construction processes and workflows.

Construction management software including: HCSS Suite, Trimble One Spectrum, PlanGrid, Acumatica, Procore and other leading technology tools.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
