Role Summary:

The primary objective of this role is to deliver exceptional service to our members, addressing their financial needs effectively. This position emphasizes proactive engagement in promoting credit union products and services while adhering to established performance standards. Active involvement in branch performance initiatives is essential to meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Performance Goals: Achieve or surpass individual loan and branch performance targets by assisting members with loan inquiries and employing credit analysis to serve their needs effectively.
  2. Transaction Processing: Accurately handle member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, ensuring precise cash drawer management.
  3. Product Promotion: Actively promote and cross-sell all credit union offerings to enhance members' financial health.
  4. Member Availability: Maintain high availability for members by managing queue times and promptly assisting those in need.
  5. Account Management: Open and manage member accounts, meeting established goals for new account creation and service requests.
  6. Service Excellence: Adhere to service guidelines to ensure high-quality member interactions, fostering a positive organizational culture through adaptability to new technologies.
  7. Additional Duties: Perform other assigned tasks in a collaborative and positive manner.

Performance Metrics:

  1. Meet or exceed loan goals utilizing the Co-Pilot Program.
  2. Engage in branch performance initiatives, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve individual objectives.
  3. Achieve expectations for selling ancillary products and services.
  4. Deliver outstanding service consistently, arriving on time and minimizing unscheduled absences.
  5. Stay informed and compliant with all relevant regulations and credit union policies.

Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of three to five years in a similar role.

Education: A two-year college degree or equivalent specialized training.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills are essential for effective relationship building and conflict resolution.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer applications, calculator usage, and typing. Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Physical Requirements: The role may require occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds and involves various physical activities.

Work Environment: The position is primarily office-based with moderate noise levels.
