Role Summary:

The primary objective of this role is to deliver exceptional service to our members, addressing their financial needs with expertise and care. This position emphasizes proactive engagement in promoting credit union products and services, adhering to established performance standards. Active involvement in achieving branch performance goals is essential, along with a commitment to providing high-quality service that enhances the lives of our members.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Performance Goals: Achieve or surpass individual loan and branch performance expectations by assisting members with loan inquiries and utilizing credit analysis effectively.
  2. Transaction Processing: Accurately handle member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments, ensuring a balanced cash drawer.
  3. Product Promotion: Actively promote and cross-sell all credit union products and services to support members' financial health.
  4. Member Availability: Maintain maximum availability for members by managing queue times and prioritizing assistance for waiting members.
  5. Account Management: Open and manage member accounts, striving to meet individual goals for new account openings and service requests.
  6. Service Excellence: Adhere to service guidelines to ensure high-quality interactions with members, fostering a positive workplace culture through adaptability to new technologies.
  7. Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned, contributing positively to the team environment.

Performance Metrics:

  1. Meet or exceed loan goals while utilizing the Co-Pilot Program.
  2. Engage in branch performance expectations and participate in weekly meetings to adjust strategies as needed.
  3. Achieve established targets for selling ancillary products and services.
  4. Deliver exceptional service consistently, maintaining punctuality and minimizing unscheduled absences.
  5. Stay informed and compliant with all relevant regulations and credit union policies.

Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of three to five years in a similar role.

Education: Candidates should possess either a two-year college degree, relevant certifications, or specialized training.

Interpersonal Skills: This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle confidential discussions with discretion.

Other Skills: Proficiency in computer applications, calculator use, and typing is essential. Bilingual abilities are preferred.

Physical Requirements: The role may require occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.

Work Environment: The position is typically performed in a moderate noise level environment, free from adverse weather conditions.
