Job Overview

This role may be based in various locations within Oklahoma.

Position Title: Social Services Compliance Auditor

Annual Compensation:

  • Level I H22A AFS, CAP, DDS, OCA - $40, Full State Employee Benefits
  • Level II H22B CAP, DDS, OCA - $43, Full State Employee Benefits

Extensive travel is required. A valid driver's license and necessary car insurance are mandatory.

Core Responsibilities:

Positions within this classification are tasked with executing internal and external audits, along with field investigations. They are responsible for performing federally or state-mandated quality assurance audits to assess the efficacy of agency programs. Certain roles will involve follow-up evaluations and advocacy for clients and program enhancements. Responsibilities include investigating welfare fraud and employee infractions of agency policies, regulations, and relevant state and federal laws. Some positions will also conduct inquiries to safeguard client rights, serve as client advocates, and file grievances on behalf of clients.

Essential Qualifications:

Social Services Compliance Auditor, Level I

  • A bachelor's degree along with two years of professional experience in investigation, auditing, social work, juvenile justice, personnel administration, law enforcement, or child support enforcement, particularly with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Social Services Compliance Auditor, Level II

  • A bachelor's degree with three years of professional experience in investigation, auditing, social work, juvenile justice, personnel administration, law enforcement, or child support enforcement, particularly with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Key Duties:

  • Conduct investigations into the maltreatment of vulnerable adults, ensuring all necessary information and documentation is gathered to support the investigation and recorded in the appropriate case management system.
  • Perform required post-investigation activities.
