Job Overview

Candex is seeking a bookkeeper who will serve as a Junior Manager of Global Operations to join our team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to support our growth and financial operations globally. You will be responsible for maintaining financial records and transactions, managing accounting software, invoices, and tax payments, overseeing bank reconciliations on a daily basis and cash disbursements. This position will report to the Director of Revenue Operations.

Responsibilities
  • Record financial transactions to various accounts
  • Prepare and submit monthly tax reports (VAT, withholding taxes, national insurance, income tax)
  • Conduct daily banking activities, including international payments
  • Work with external auditors, tax authorities, and vendors worldwide
  • Produce various financial reports
  • Reconcile reports to third-party records such as bank statements
  • Support month-end close for legal entities in multiple countries
  • Analyze client-level reporting, revenue calculations, and generate invoices
  • Maintain corporate credit cards and reimbursement tools
Requirements
  • Certified Bookkeeper (type 1/2 or higher)
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a hi-tech company
  • Familiarity with accounting software and proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with the Netsuite ERP system is an advantage
  • Expertise with authorities reporting (VAT, WHT, etc.)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with a wide range of financial transactions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Expense reports, and Revenue generation
