Position Overview

The Corporate Finance Executive at Sungage Financial plays a pivotal role in steering the financial direction of the organization. This position involves overseeing financial planning, analysis, and forecasting (F,P&A), alongside managing internal corporate finance operations. The ideal candidate will possess not only robust technical expertise but also the capability to develop and implement new processes and initiatives with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive and timely financial insights to the CFO and senior management, utilizing detailed Excel models and business intelligence tools for both short-term and long-term forecasts.
  • Collaborate with the Capital Markets team to assess the financial implications of intricate funding strategies, including warehouse facilities and asset-backed securities transactions.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and create presentations to support strategic decision-making across various business areas.
  • Assist in preparing materials for investor relations, executive leadership, and board meetings, along with other necessary documentation.
  • Enhance and oversee policies and procedures related to internal corporate finance functions, such as financial risk management and liquidity management.
  • Work alongside the Financial Operations team to facilitate whole loan sales, hedging strategies, and related financial reporting.
  • Provide analytical support for target setting and planning processes, focusing on finance KPIs and metrics to enhance visibility and decision-making for financial and cross-functional leaders.
  • Engage in hands-on project management for various strategic initiatives in collaboration with the CFO.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration and high performance while mentoring junior team members.
  • Partner with internal and external accounting teams to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and audits.
Qualifications
  • 7-10+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, and financial accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, business, finance, or a related field.
  • An MBA is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Word and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in the solar industry is a plus but not essential.
  • Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments with strong decision-making capabilities.
  • COVID-19 vaccination is required.
