Role Responsibilities
The Junior Software Engineering Manager plays a pivotal role in transforming our clients' aspirations into software solutions. As a member of the Delivery Team, you will oversee the comprehensive execution of customer-oriented mobile and web applications. This position is hands-on, involving release planning, functional and technical design, testing, collaboration with strategic partners, and managing remote resources.

Candidate Profile
We seek individuals with a solid history of managing intricate, customer-focused mobile and web application projects under tight deadlines, along with experience in a globally distributed team. A background in mobile/web application development is preferred, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with software engineers and conduct code reviews. If you are enthusiastic about assisting clients in reaching their objectives and are intrigued by the application of AI and reusable components in software development, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing project plans, delegating tasks, identifying resource requirements, and addressing issues as they arise.
  • Overseeing daily project management from start to finish, ensuring compliance with Builder's delivery standards for consistently high-quality outcomes.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks in the agreed delivery to clients, effectively communicating any concerns to minimize disruptions.
  • Proposing delivery process enhancements and sharing insights with team members and leadership to foster continuous improvement within the Delivery Organization.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in software delivery as a hands-on developer before transitioning into software engineering management or technical project management.
  • Capability to actively participate in and lead requirements gathering, scrum, and status meetings.
  • Strong technical skills, particularly in mobile and web application development, systems integration, quality assurance, and product release support.
  • Ability to create project/product plans, manage deadlines, and achieve individual goals.
  • Quickly grasping issues while considering technical dependencies and system constraints.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changes in dynamic environments.
  • Skill in navigating between the overarching vision and critical details, knowing when to focus on each.
  • Proficient in identifying problems, generating solutions, and selecting appropriate alternatives through basic root cause analysis.
  • Quickly learning and adapting to new tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CSM / PMP certification.
