Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Production Support Engineer with robust experience in Linux and Unix environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in shell scripting and be adept at troubleshooting applications developed in Java and C++.

Responsibilities:

1. **Application Troubleshooting:**
- Provide support for Java and C++ applications, ensuring efficient operation and quick resolution of issues.

2. **Middleware Expertise:**
- Work with middleware technologies including CORBA, AIX, MQ, and file transfer systems.

3. **Incident Management:**
- Engage in L2/L3 incident management and oversee release management processes.

4. **Legacy Systems Handling:**
- Manage and support legacy and complex applications, coordinating with system administrators and infrastructure teams for installation and software deployment.

5. **Monitoring and Alerts:**
- Monitor system performance proactively, addressing alerts and ensuring minimal downtime.

6. **Documentation and Standards:**
- Establish and maintain comprehensive documentation and standards for system operations.

7. **Performance Optimization:**
- Conduct performance analysis and tuning, implementing best practices for system efficiency.

8. **Disaster Recovery Planning:**
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, ensuring business continuity.

9. **Customer Engagement:**
- Participate in customer feedback surveys to enhance service delivery.

10. **On-Call Support:**
- Provide on-call support as needed to address critical incidents.
