Job Overview

Position Title: Benefits Specialist

Location: Seattle, WA

Employment Type: Full-Time – Contract


We are seeking a meticulous and committed Benefits Specialist to support our client's Human Resources department as a temporary contractor. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of benefits options and provide assistance during the enrollment phase. This role is designed to aid our clients during the Open Enrollment period.


Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in benefits management.
  • In-depth understanding of employee benefits programs and relevant regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and benefits management software.
  • Capability to manage sensitive and confidential information with care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate the annual open enrollment process.
  • Effectively communicate benefits options and enrollment procedures to employees.
  • Assist employees in comprehending and selecting their benefits packages.
  • Provide personalized support to employees with enrollment inquiries.
  • Collaborate with HR and benefits providers to address any issues or discrepancies.
  • Maintain precise and current records of employee benefits enrollments.
  • Prepare and distribute benefits-related materials and documentation.

Compensation Details: $28.50 to $34.50 per hour
