About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Compensation and Benefits to join our team at REI Recreation Equipment, Inc. This is a critical role that will contribute to the company's success by leading the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs that align with our values and strategic business priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compensation Program Development
    • Develop and implement compensation programs that are aligned with the organization's values and strategic priorities.
    • Lead compensation projects and initiatives, including annual salary and incentive cycles, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time.
  • Compensation Committee Support
    • Prepare presentation materials and documents for the Compensation Committee of the Board and senior business leaders.
  • Industry Research and Analysis
    • Research and review industry trends, including market practices and salary survey data, to ensure that our compensation packages are competitive and enable the organization to attract, engage, and retain top talent.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with HR and business leaders by providing guidance on compensation recommendations, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
    • Develop and maintain compensation training and communication programs to educate managers and employees about compensation programs.
  • Metrics and Compliance
    • Develop and maintain metrics to track the effectiveness of compensation programs and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Stay current with developments in compensation regulations and ensure that the organization's compensation programs are in compliance.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • 10+ years of experience in broad-based and executive compensation design, delivery, and administration.
    • At least 5 years in a leadership and people management role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong knowledge of compensation regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex compensation information to employees at all levels of the organization.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and analyze data to inform compensation decisions.
    • Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
