About the Position
Abnormal Security is seeking a dedicated Security Analyst to become an integral part of the Behavioral Security Product (BESP) team. In this role, you will serve as a critical line of defense, playing a vital role in our cybersecurity efforts. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and leadership qualities.

Key Responsibilities

As a BESP Security Analyst, your motivation to comprehend and thwart cyber threats will be essential. Your role will involve:

  • Proactively identifying and mitigating threats targeting individual or organizational accounts while gaining insights into various cybersecurity attack methodologies.
  • Diving deep into complex systems to analyze their behaviors and understand their intricacies.
  • Communicating clearly and effectively, producing reports that are accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Tasks assigned will be executed accurately and promptly, with a willingness to seek assistance when necessary. You will be expected to manage BESP Response Team tasks with some guidance, while also learning about team processes and culture. Expect ample coaching, mentorship, and direction to ensure your success. Scope of Work: Focused on specific tasks.

Essential Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, email security, or anti-abuse domains.
  • Proficient in data analysis, including SQL and dataset examination.
  • Experience in a customer support setting.
  • Background in technical writing or communication of complex issues.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $150,000—$175,000 USD
