Position Overview

Kimball Midwest is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and managing a territory of outside sales representatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete the initial field sales training program to become familiar with our market strategy, products, and territory
  • Participate in sales development programs to assist with account penetration, product knowledge, and recruiting and developing your own sales team
  • Partner with the internal recruiting department to grow your sales team
  • Be the face of the recruiting effort, leading the charge in the recruiting process from interviewing to selecting and hiring sales candidates
  • Execute corporate initiatives and sales plans to ensure you and your sales representatives are successful
  • Develop your sales representatives as they grow their own business using our sales programs

Requirements

· Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in hiring and managing an outside sales team
· History of success in outside sales
· Experience building business relationships with end-users of maintenance and repair products
· High level of motivation
· Strong planning and negotiation skills
