Sales Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Kimball Midwest. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and managing a territory of outside sales representatives.
Key Responsibilities- Complete the initial field sales training program to become familiar with our market strategy, products, and territory
- Participate in sales development programs to enhance account penetration, product knowledge, and recruiting and developing your own sales team
- Partner with the internal recruiting department to grow your sales team
- Lead the recruiting effort, from interviewing to selecting and hiring sales candidates
- Execute corporate initiatives and sales plans to ensure success for you and your sales representatives
- Develop your sales representatives as they grow their own business using our sales programs
- Family-owned and operated since 1923, with a long-term focus on growing our sales force and remaining family-owned
- We stock over 55,000 maintenance and repair items, with access to 500,000+ hard-to-find items through our Special-Order Department
- Demonstrably superior products with a written warranty
- Distribution centers located in Ohio, Georgia, Texas, Connecticut, and Nevada
- 99% fill rate on all orders, with same-day shipment and delivery to 90% of customers within 24 hours
- 'Buy American – Buy Kimball Midwest.' 80% of our inventory spend goes to products made in the U.S.A. to meet our customers' quality demands
- Sales revenue growth is dynamic, increasing from $1 Million in 1983 to over $500 Million today
- Focused training and development programs with opportunities for career growth
· Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in hiring and managing an outside sales team
· History of success in outside sales
· Experience building business relationships with end-users of maintenance and repair products
· High level of motivation
· Strong planning and negotiation skills
