Position Summary:
We are seeking a Regional Manager of Neuroscience Sales to join our dynamic and forward-thinking sales team, committed to making a positive impact on patients' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 8-10 Neuroscience Account Managers.
- Drive strategic initiatives and oversee the execution of sales strategies within the designated region.
- Collaborate effectively with Sales Leadership, Medical Affairs, and other critical internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Geographical Coverage:
The role encompasses multiple territories, including Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and eastern Kentucky.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree is advantageous.
- A minimum of 10 years in the pharmaceutical sector, with at least 4 years in Sales Management preferred.
- Proven experience in detailing or leading teams that engage with psychiatrists and/or primary care physicians within the last five years; familiarity with atypical antipsychotics is highly desirable.
Preferred Specialty Experience:
- Background in CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or depression; other relevant specialty experience will also be considered.
- Demonstrated success in recruiting, retaining, and developing high-performing specialty sales teams.
- Documented track record of sales excellence and leadership capabilities.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to meet industry-standard credentialing requirements for healthcare providers and facilities.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to foster positive interactions.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Must reside near a major airport within the region.
- Flexibility and effectiveness in a fast-paced, innovative work environment.
- Experience in small company or start-up settings is a plus.
Travel Requirements:
- Willingness to travel up to 75%.
