Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and proactive individuals to enhance the experiences of our workforce.

Key Responsibilities:


Collaborate with management at various levels to comprehend business goals and pinpoint associated human resource requirements; execute strategies that align with business objectives and enhance employee retention initiatives.

Drive the implementation of comprehensive human resources strategies, programs, and processes across the division.
Work alongside operations and training teams to assess training requirements and contribute to the development of training materials and methodologies.

Engage with operations to identify workforce demands; may involve recruiting union hourly staff and assisting in the recruitment of both exempt and non-exempt roles.

Act as the primary point of contact for employee and labor relations, mediating and resolving disputes and grievances.

Provide guidance and training to management on labor relations, equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, and discrimination matters.

Interpret policies and ensure consistent application of all organizational policies and procedures, as well as relevant local, state, and federal regulations, and applicable collective bargaining agreements.

May also be tasked with delivering orientation and various training programs as required.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reporting.

Address employment-related claims from governmental or public agencies; recommend resolutions or defenses based on thorough investigations.

Achieve human resources and organizational objectives by fulfilling related outcomes as necessary.

Qualifications:

Education:
A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.

Work Experience:
A minimum of 2 years in a human resources generalist capacity is essential.
Experience in transportation, hospitality, manufacturing, or food service sectors is highly advantageous.

Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing a large team.
Previous experience in labor relations is beneficial.
Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills are necessary.
Multi-lingual abilities are preferred.
In-depth knowledge of state and federal employment legislation.
Effective relationship management and business collaboration skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally.
Expertise in talent acquisition and analysis.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills, and a collaborative, action-oriented approach.

Must possess a thorough understanding of EEO/Title VII compliance, including expertise in investigating and responding to Title VII complaints.

Innovative thinking is required to implement operational changes that enhance the work environment and overall unit performance.

PHR certification is a plus.

Language / Communication Skills:
Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
Bilingual (English / Spanish) is preferred.

Work Environment / Job Requirements:
Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts exceeding 10 hours.
In a typical production kitchen setting, physical discomfort may arise due to temperature and noise levels.
Must be capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving products, equipment, and supplies exceeding twenty-five (25) pounds.
A rotating schedule of over 55 hours per week is common.
