Job Overview

In alignment with our mission, we are currently in search of an HR Administrative Coordinator to become a vital part of our team. This role will involve managing recruitment processes, facilitating onboarding, and maintaining employee records under the guidance of the Senior Human Resources Generalist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure confidentiality of all employee-related information.
  • Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, managing applicant information in our HRIS (Paycom), sourcing candidates, and maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Oversee New Employee Onboarding:
    • Create and organize new employee files in both the shared drive and HRIS.
    • Process I-9 documentation and E-Verification.
    • Conduct background checks.
    • Prepare and draft necessary correspondence.
    • Establish and maintain comprehensive employee records, recommending improvements to enhance processes.
    • Facilitate benefits enrollment and ensure accurate submission to payroll.
    • Collaborate with the Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate processing of compensation and benefits during onboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory training and credentialing requirements for employees.
  • Generate reports as requested by the Senior Human Resources Generalist.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, copying, and sorting.
  • Assist with additional duties and projects as assigned.

  • Adhere to JCC policies and procedures.
  • Perform duties as workload necessitates.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful demeanor.
  • Communicate regularly with the Senior Human Resources Generalist regarding departmental matters.
  • Exhibit flexible and efficient time management skills while prioritizing tasks.

Qualifications and Skills

Essential Qualifications

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; a strong aptitude for technology is essential.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A keen interest in expanding knowledge within the Human Resources field.
  • Familiarity with information management or HRIS systems.
  • Experience in data entry with a strong focus on detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a detail-oriented, multi-tasking environment while meeting deadlines.

Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Ability to concentrate, take initiative, manage stress, and maintain confidentiality in a business setting.
  • Capability to remain seated for extended periods.
  • Must be able to speak, hear, see, and walk up to one mile daily.
  • Occasional lifting or moving of items up to 25 pounds.
  • Work conditions may involve shared workspace environments.

Full-time employees are eligible for benefits, including contributions towards medical, dental, and vision premiums. The JCC provides Basic Life Insurance, AD&D, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability coverage at no cost to eligible employees. Additional voluntary benefits are also available.

The JCC offers a 401(K) Plan for employees over 21 years of age, with no waiting period for contributions. Paid Time Off is available from day one, accruing based on years of service, in compliance with applicable laws.
