Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at FirstService Residential. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our properties, ensuring the highest level of service and satisfaction for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Property Manager in the management of property operations, including staff supervision, resident relations, and vendor management.
  • Oversee the delivery of exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor and report on property performance metrics, including resident satisfaction, rent collection, and maintenance requests.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective resolution of maintenance requests and repairs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve resident satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide training and support to front desk staff to ensure excellent customer service and effective communication with residents.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of property budgets and financial plans.
  • Monitor and control expenses to ensure compliance with budget and financial plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Property Manager or other senior management.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop effective solutions to improve property performance.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
