Supervisory Role

This position oversees all departmental employees and is responsible for their performance management and recruitment.

Work Environment

This role involves frequent exposure to smoke, steam, high temperatures, humidity, and extreme cold. Additionally, there is regular contact with water, sanitation solutions, and various food products.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully execute the essential functions of this role.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to communicate, hear, and stand. The employee frequently reaches, bends, stoops, shakes, stirs, pours, carries, pushes, and lifts objects weighing up to 30 pounds. There is considerable repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers.

Position Type and Expected Hours

This is a non-exempt position. The work schedule may vary throughout the year to meet the business needs of the property.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; formal culinary training or an associate degree in culinary arts preferred.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in a culinary leadership role is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with managers, kitchen staff, and guests.
  • Safe Food Handling Certification is required.
