Position Summary
The Senior Vice President of Strategic Solutions is a pivotal role requiring a seasoned professional with extensive experience in delivering diverse services within the staffing sector. This position involves overseeing staff augmentation, MSP solutions (including VMS utilization), recruitment process outsourcing (RPO), payroll services, independent contractor compliance, and direct sourcing, among other related services. The incumbent will collaborate with Acro executives to design innovative talent solutions that address business development opportunities, including formal requests for proposals (RFPs) and direct sales initiatives from various teams.
The Senior Vice President will lead a dedicated team focused on crafting compelling strategic solutions through both formal and informal proposals for current and prospective clients. This role demands a meticulous approach to detail and effective communication, ensuring that all proposals and promotional materials reflect the company’s strengths and offerings. The Senior Vice President will remain informed about industry trends and integrate relevant insights into all communications, fostering collaboration with senior leadership, the proposal team, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee the development of strategic solutions and proposals for Acro's clients.
- Manage a team of proposal writers, ensuring high-quality content preparation and review processes.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to align solutions with client needs and effectively position messaging in proposals and presentations.
- Maintain and update Acro's proposals repository to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Utilize Acro's service toolkit to architect proposals that meet and exceed client expectations.
- Engage with business unit leaders and subject matter experts to gather necessary information for proposals.
- Conduct research to enhance proposal content and address any information gaps.
- Work alongside sales and marketing teams to create additional business development materials, including white papers and case studies.
- Establish vision and goals for the proposal team, recognizing individual team member capabilities.
- Participate in the strategic planning process to align team objectives with Acro's long-term goals.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to both onshore and offshore team members.
- Design and recommend talent solutions that benefit both Acro and its clients.
- Support pre-sales efforts by analyzing client requirements and current business challenges.
- Evaluate the proposal team's performance and present findings to stakeholders for continuous improvement.
- Manage all RFx opportunities according to Acro's proposal completion process.
- Oversee timelines for proposal activities and submission deadlines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
Experience
- At least 15 years of experience in the staffing industry, with a focus on various staffing-related services.
- A minimum of 10 years in proposal writing and communication aimed at promoting staffing services.
- At least 5 years in a leadership role or as a solution architect within the staffing sector.
Skills
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
- Capability to organize complex information for effective presentation.
- Adaptability in writing styles to suit different audiences.
- Understanding of high-level business topics and global economic trends.
- Knowledge of how communications influence branding and messaging strategies.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
