Position Title: IT Education Specialist and Content Creator

Location: Remote/Hybrid

Position Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive IT training sessions and crafting/updating educational materials tailored for our learners. You will manage assigned responsibilities with a focus on quality and effectiveness.

Key Competencies:

  • Instructional Delivery: Utilizes diverse teaching methodologies to engage learners; fosters an interactive learning environment; actively incorporates feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Material Development: Creates high-quality educational content efficiently with minimal revisions required.
  • Effective Communication: Maintains regular and clear communication with participants and team leaders regarding assignments, timelines, and any potential challenges.
  • Collaboration: Works cooperatively with team members and other departments to achieve shared objectives. Demonstrates a supportive attitude and assists in training sessions as needed.
  • Client Support: Offers courteous and knowledgeable assistance to learners, ensuring their IT needs are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Results Driven: Consistently meets performance targets and quality standards, demonstrating a commitment to achieving organizational goals.
  • Organizational Skills: Effectively plans and manages schedules and tasks, ensuring timely completion of responsibilities.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel as necessary to conduct in-person training sessions.

Responsibilities:

  • Aligns with the directives and goals set by management.
  • Communicates proactively with team leaders regarding schedules and any issues that may arise.
  • Acquires and maintains proficiency in relevant IT applications to effectively instruct learners.
  • Coordinates and disseminates training schedules to stakeholders.
  • Prepares training environments and ensures all necessary resources are available prior to sessions.
  • Facilitates virtual and in-person training sessions, ensuring an engaging experience for participants.
  • Builds strong relationships across the organization to identify training needs and encourage participation.
  • Handles logistical arrangements for training sessions, including securing venues and confirming attendance.
  • Delivers a positive and interactive learning atmosphere.
  • Maintains professionalism and order during training to achieve educational objectives.
  • Records attendance and performance metrics accurately within the learning management system.
  • Ensures compliance with travel and expense reporting policies.
  • Regularly reviews and updates training materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Contributes to IT projects by providing training support during user acceptance testing and rollouts.
  • Adapts to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Work Conditions:

  • Experience in developing user training content for IT applications.
  • Familiarity with instructional design tools and techniques.
