Northside Education, Inc. is seeking a part-time Elementary Education Support Specialist for grades K-6. This role is designed to assist lead educators in fostering a productive and engaging learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong ethical standards and collaborate effectively to ensure a safe, respectful, and nurturing atmosphere for all learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support lead educators with lesson planning, instructional delivery, and classroom management.
- Provide individualized or small group instruction to enhance student learning.
- Contribute to the intellectual and character development of each student.
- Monitor student behavior and discipline in alignment with the educational institution's mission to cultivate virtuous and responsible individuals.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Experience working with children is essential.
- Preferred experience in behavior management for younger children.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to the principles of a classical, liberal arts education and the ability to uphold high standards of student conduct.
- Adherence to the organization's dress code is mandatory.
