Under general supervision, the role involves conducting training sessions on IT applications and creating/updating educational materials. The individual will be responsible for assigned tasks.

Job Overview:

Sunrise Systems Inc is looking for a professional who can travel to various locations to deliver in-person training sessions multiple times a month and also conduct online classes via Microsoft Teams.

  • The primary responsibility is to provide IT training to staff on custom-developed and Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications. Training on these products will be provided.
  • The candidate will facilitate training for desktop, web, and mobile applications, collaborating with users to assess training needs and develop course content.
  • Responsibilities include publishing training schedules within the Learning Management System (Oracle/Workday), managing learner enrollments, assessments, and certifications.
  • The candidate will gather feedback through training surveys to enhance training delivery and improve IT products.
  • Collaboration with business units is essential to boost class participation and address technical requirements.
  • Facilitating vendor or contractor-led training sessions may also be part of the role.
  • The individual will be tasked with developing, updating, and maintaining IT training content, including creating presentations, guides, manuals, storyboards, videos, and/or computer-based training materials.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, TechSmith Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, and/or Articulate 360/Storyline is highly desired.
  • Recordkeeping for tracking activities, performance indicators, and ensuring data accuracy will be required.
  • The candidate will work as part of a team within the IT department and report to a Team Leader/Supervisor.
  • The IT Training Team consists of IT Trainers, Instructional Designers, and a Team Leader, delivering training on approximately 40 applications covering various topics.
