Job Overview

Position Summary:

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Membership Sales Consultant at The University Club Of Memphis. This position is focused on expanding our membership base by engaging with potential clients, nurturing leads, and ultimately closing sales. Your performance will play a crucial role in the overall success and growth of our organization.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 2 years of sales experience, ideally within the Arts, Entertainment, and Recreation sectors
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or surpassing sales goals
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with CRM systems
  • Understanding of the Arts, Entertainment, and Recreation fields
  • Experience in consultative sales approaches

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage potential clients through various outreach methods, including cold calling, networking, and referrals
  • Establish and maintain robust relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty
  • Design and implement sales strategies aimed at meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly objectives
  • Work in conjunction with other departments to guarantee a seamless experience for clients
  • Keep precise and current records of all sales activities and client interactions

Required Skills:

As a Membership Sales Consultant, you will leverage your exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to foster strong client relationships. Your sales acumen will be essential in identifying and pursuing prospective clients, crafting and executing effective sales strategies, and achieving sales targets.
