Position Summary: As a Marine Sales Consultant at Skiers Marine Inc., you will be instrumental in assisting customers in selecting the ideal boat that aligns with their requirements and desires. Your role will involve guiding clients through the sales journey, offering expert insights on our extensive selection of boats, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable purchasing experience. Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Welcome and engage with customers to ascertain their boating needs and preferences, providing tailored recommendations based on our product offerings.
  • Product Expertise: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the boats available, including MasterCraft, Supra, Moomba, Chaparral, Boston Whaler, Sylvan, and Premier, to effectively address customer inquiries and offer expert advice.
  • Sales Management: Oversee the sales process from initial contact to closing, including negotiating terms, preparing sales contracts, and coordinating delivery.
  • Client Relations: Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients to ensure high satisfaction levels, repeat business, and referrals.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and test drives to highlight the features and advantages of our boats.
  • Follow-Up: Engage with leads and prospects to nurture relationships and drive sales, utilizing CRM tools to monitor and manage sales activities.
  • Sales Objectives: Meet and surpass individual and team sales goals, contributing to the overall success of the dealership.
  • Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to effectively position our products and services.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Experience: Proven sales experience, preferably in the marine or automotive sector; prior experience as a sales consultant is beneficial. Extensive boating experience is required.
  • Skills: Strong sales and negotiation abilities; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
