Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the design and execution of AI and machine learning systems that transform animation workflows, spanning from initial concept to final output.


Drive innovation in character animation and simulation, leveraging AI to produce more realistic, dynamic, and emotionally resonant characters.

Develop cutting-edge algorithms for automated scene rendering, color enhancement, and lighting adjustments, elevating visual effects and overall production quality.


Collaborate closely with animators, artists, and technical experts to implement AI tools that optimize processes, enhance productivity, and unlock new avenues for creativity.

Lead research initiatives in machine learning methodologies to enhance motion capture, facial recognition, and real-time animation, ensuring the integration of the latest technologies.

Establish and maintain robust data management and processing systems to support AI-driven animation and real-time graphics production.

Promote the ethical application of AI in animation, ensuring that technological advancements enrich artistic expression while preserving creative integrity.


Guide and mentor a team of AI experts and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous professional growth within the organization.

Stay informed about industry trends and technological breakthroughs, integrating pioneering AI research into our creative processes.


Engage with the wider tech and animation communities through conferences, workshops, and publications, showcasing our leadership in AI-enhanced animation.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:
A deep passion for animation and a forward-thinking approach to blending technology with artistic endeavors.

6+ years of experience in AI and machine learning, ideally with a background in animation, gaming, or visual effects.


A solid understanding of AI algorithms, data management, and computational models, with a proven ability to apply these in innovative and creative contexts.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++, along with experience in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Huggingface.

Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, capable of effective collaboration across creative and technical teams.

A Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Animation, or a related discipline.

Desirable Qualifications:


Experience in creating AI tools for animation, including automated rigging, facial animation, or natural language processing for script analysis.

A portfolio showcasing successful AI integration in animation projects, demonstrating enhancements in quality, efficiency, or creativity.

Familiarity with 3D animation software (such as Maya or Blender) and real-time engines (like Unreal Engine or Unity).

Active contributions to the AI and animation community through research, open-source initiatives, or public speaking engagements.
