We do this by providing businesses with access to world class, on-demand data science talent that helps them solve real business problems. On the back end, we empower data scientists with a set of internal groundbreaking tools to help them deliver results in minutes, not months.

We keep working hours flexible and are building a hybrid team with most of us located in San Francisco, CA and others working remotely around the world.

Obviously AI is backed by some of the top venture capital firms in the US, and you’ll be on the ground floor of a fast-growing company with a big mission.

  • Experience working with diverse teams, including data scientists, sales, and product development.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, fostering trust and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct customer onboarding, set clear expectations, establish timelines, and maintain regular check-ins to achieve customer goals.
  • Ensure timely delivery of a functioning AI model by aligning customer expectations with the data science team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve roadblocks, provide AI strategy suggestions, and update timelines and customer status.
  • Proactively manage customer relationships, gauge sentiment, and maintain positive customer health.
  • Offer technical assistance by translating complex machine learning concepts into simple language.
  • Discuss data strategy with customers, manage action plans, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Address customer queries regarding Obviously AI’s software and troubleshoot issues as needed.

Requirements

  • 2-6 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager, or Customer Success Engineer, focusing on AI/ML or data-driven projects.
  • Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, ML/AI, or Data Science
  • Ability to work out of our San Francisco office 3 days a week
