One Tech Engineering is seeking a Vice President of Sales Strategy to operate fully remotely, with occasional travel as needed. This role will focus on generating new and sustainable revenue streams through the formulation of long-term strategies and the execution of short-term tactical plans, catering to a variety of end markets and supporting all facilities managed by our organization.

The ideal candidate must be a US Citizen or a green card holder, as this position does not offer sponsorship. A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of seven years of experience in sales are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a sales culture that is adaptable to organizational and market dynamics, enabling growth and increased market share.
  • Meet designated revenue and profitability targets for assigned accounts by leading the sales team and engaging directly in sales initiatives as necessary.
  • Ensure future sales expansion by assessing market trends and crafting sales strategies in collaboration with Marketing and New Business Development.
  • Oversee the input of sales forecasts for designated accounts, supporting the SIOP process and the formulation of the annual sales plan.
  • Guide the establishment and management of long-term agreements with key clients through collaboration with Sales representatives, Marketing, New Business Development, Legal, and Finance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance strategic accounts, address common pricing challenges, and support customer localization efforts.
  • Define both short-term and long-term strategic and tactical objectives that align with the company’s annual goals.
  • Conduct regular reviews of sales activities, quotes, and expenses with assigned sales representatives and managers to ensure revenue and profitability targets are met.
  • Actively engage in cost reduction and business process improvement initiatives within the organization to achieve company-wide objectives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in sales, marketing, or a related engineering field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a sales and marketing role, preferably within the fastener or related sectors.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment under pressure and the capacity to make informed decisions based on analysis and experience.
  • Experience in strategic planning and the execution of sales strategies, managing objectives, and revenue forecasts.
  • Strong negotiation skills and proficiency in developing and executing sales agreements.
  • Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to facilitate and participate in group discussions.
  • Willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in leading sales teams within similar industries.
  • Master’s degree.
