Position Overview:

The Senior Vice President of Strategic Growth will report directly to the President of Link & Renew. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing strategic initiatives aimed at driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and enhancing overall profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a robust growth strategy that aligns with Marmon Link's objectives and market dynamics, focusing on pioneering aftersales and service markets.
  • Identify and explore new market opportunities, potential partnerships, and innovative business models to stimulate revenue growth.
  • Create comprehensive business cases and strategic plans that align our offerings with current and future business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer experience, marketing, operations, engineering, and product development, to design and launch new products and services tailored to customer preferences.
  • Work closely with the data science team to analyze complex business scenarios, sales data, and performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance sales performance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and industry partners, to support business growth initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor the commercial team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, accountability, and inclusivity.
  • Provide regular business reviews to assess the progress of growth initiatives and make necessary adjustments to meet or exceed targets.
  • Keep the leadership team informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing a full P&L and a desire to learn about complex global business operations.
  • Strong initiative and ability to set strategic direction.
  • Demonstrated success in driving new business growth and achieving profitable revenue and operating income, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
  • Excellent strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of influencing and inspiring teams at all organizational levels.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in project management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and distribution channels.
  • Experience in complex negotiations and a relentless focus on customer needs.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in Commercial, Business Development, Sales, Finance, or a similar role.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
