Position Overview
The Vice President of Operational Risk Management will play a pivotal role in overseeing risk management strategies within the organization. This position is essential for ensuring that effective risk management, control, and governance processes are established and maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Operational Risk Management initiatives for the organization, ensuring that all customer satisfaction and operational goals are achieved.
  • Proactively identify and address potential risks in a comprehensive manner to minimize impacts on stakeholders.
  • Oversee the response strategies for operational challenges, reinforcing the organization's commitment to being a reliable partner to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with the established Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) policies and that all identified risks are communicated effectively to leadership.
  • Utilize advanced risk identification tools to support new initiatives and processes.
  • Develop and execute strategies for enhancing Operational Risk Management, focusing on early detection and prevention of potential issues.

Accountability
The Vice President will be accountable to the leadership team, ensuring:
  • Ownership of the risk mitigation framework, including monitoring compliance with risk management policies.
  • Collaboration with various departments to identify and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Support for strategic programs and sharing of risk management insights for immediate priorities.
  • Identification of long-term process improvements to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Realization of budgeted savings and optimization of operational opportunities.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A Bachelor’s degree; advanced degrees or professional certifications are preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in consulting or similar environments is advantageous.
  • Strong project management capabilities and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • High ethical standards and integrity, with a commitment to fostering a collaborative work environment.

Work Schedule
This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week.
