POSITION: NUTRITION MANAGER

The Nutrition Manager plays a pivotal role in crafting and executing annual strategies that address the nutritional requirements of the children and families served by AEL. This position involves developing age-appropriate nutrition education programs and overseeing contracts with service providers related to nutrition.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree with a certification in Food Service Management or a related Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Family and Consumer Studies with a focus on Child Development, Food Service, or Nutrition is highly desirable.
  • At least two years of experience managing a large-scale food production operation, including staff oversight, sanitation standards, menu development, bulk food procurement, and food preparation.
  • Certification or registration in a dietary field by local or state authorities is required within one year of employment.
