Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into information security events and incidents, identifying root causes and developing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Drive Containment and Remediation: Develop and implement containment and remediation plans to minimize the impact of security incidents.
  • Maintain and Enhance the Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan: Continuously review and update the Cybersecurity Incident Response plan to ensure it remains effective and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Oversee Audit Management Responsibilities: Manage audit responsibilities, identifying and addressing gaps in our security controls and procedures.
  • Contribute to Use Case Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and prioritize use cases that enhance our security detection and response capabilities.
  • Drive Process Improvements: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance our security detection and response capabilities.
  • Perform Complex Security Investigations: Conduct complex security investigations and root cause analyses to identify and mitigate security threats.
  • Participate in a Rotating On-Call Schedule: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours incidents, providing timely and effective response to security events.
  • Conduct Post-Incident Reviews: Conduct thorough post-incident reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with Technical Teams: Collaborate with technical teams and third-party vendors to resolve incidents efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure Incident Tracking and Reporting: Ensure all incidents are recorded and tracked to meet audit and legal requirements.
  • Strengthen the Overall Response Framework: Continuously review and enhance our security response framework, including SOC and CSIRT functions, to ensure it remains effective and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Serve as an Escalation Point: Serve as an escalation point for the PCI environment, providing guidance for monitoring and response.
Requirements
  • Minimum of Five Years of Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in information security, with a strong understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Deep Understanding of Security Risks: Deep understanding of security risks and threats, including cloud security, forensic capability, and automation skills.
  • Strong Technical Capabilities: Strong technical capabilities, including experience with Splunk, Sort, and Phantom, as well as familiarity with AI in security contexts.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and provide clear, concise guidance during security incidents.
  • Incident Command Experience: Experience in incident command, with a strong ability to prioritize effectively and make timely decisions during security incidents.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems: Bachelor's degree in information systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.
