Position Overview:
As an Oracle Applications Systems Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical support for Cyber Operations within the Security Operations Center (CSOC). Your primary focus will be on configuring, optimizing, and maintaining critical security infrastructure to protect the organization's digital assets from emerging cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configuration and Optimization:
    Collaborate with cybersecurity stakeholders to establish and implement effective configurations for SIEM, EDR, and network access control solutions. This includes deploying new SIEM instances, fine-tuning EDR policies, and configuring network access control policies to enhance security posture.
  • Maintenance and Support:
    Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as software updates and performance tuning to ensure the reliability of cybersecurity systems. Provide timely troubleshooting assistance for issues related to SIEM, EDR, and other platforms.
  • Policy Development and Compliance:
    Develop and enforce configuration standards and security policies for cybersecurity systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Monitor adherence to security policies through audits and assessments.
  • Integration and Automation:
    Integrate cybersecurity systems with other security controls and IT infrastructure to create a cohesive security ecosystem. Develop automation scripts and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Training and Knowledge Sharing:
    Conduct training sessions and document processes to empower internal teams in utilizing cybersecurity systems effectively. Share best practices and lessons learned with colleagues to foster a collaborative environment.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or Splunk Core Certified Power User are advantageous. A minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity administration, with a focus on SIEM, EDR, and network access control is required. Proficiency in Linux environments and a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles are essential.
