Overview
As a Lead Oracle Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the management and optimization of advanced technology solutions. This position involves the installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of various systems, ensuring their seamless operation and reliability. You will also be responsible for driving automation initiatives and enhancing processes across multiple complex applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct installation, monitoring, testing, configuration, migration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of assigned technologies.
  • Oversee system/application environments and manage ongoing operations effectively.
  • Ensure technologies are updated to maintain compliance with enterprise standards and stable architecture.
  • Research, design, implement, and test innovative technology solutions.
  • Proactively monitor and report on the performance and utilization of assigned technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues promptly.
  • Manage escalated tickets and out-of-cycle requests from technology owners.
  • Collect and present data for reporting and strategic planning.
  • Assist in developing tactical strategies and procedures related to systems and application administration.
  • Evaluate migration and upgrade impacts while diagnosing complex technology/application errors.
  • Collaborate with IT and business partners on various initiatives.
  • Determine the best strategies to meet business needs effectively.
  • Contribute insights into infrastructure architecture designs.
  • Engage in programming and scripting tasks as necessary.
  • Participate in Disaster Recovery planning and exercises.
  • Ensure adherence to architectural standards and blueprints.
  • Perform on-call activities as required for the environment and technologies.
Qualifications:
  • Extensive knowledge of multiple technologies and their integrations.
  • Proficient in environments that are highly integrated with operating systems.
  • Significant experience in implementing and managing large-scale technical solutions.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Willingness to learn from experiences and apply constructive feedback.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying technical information clearly.
  • Adaptability to rapidly changing environments.
  • Experience in analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Experience Required:
5-8 years of relevant work experience or a combination of transferable experience demonstrating proficiency in design, implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting technology.

Education Required:
A Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent work experience.

Essential:
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience with Cloud technologies.
