Job Overview

Important Note: Candidates must be legally eligible to support servers that serve governmental and legal organizations. Flexibility to work various shifts, including a full-time night shift, is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Linux Administration (Red Hat / CentOS): Engage in system administration tasks including installation, support, management, patching, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Linux Clustering: Implement and manage clustering solutions for enhanced performance and reliability.
  • Virtualization Technologies: Utilize VMWare for virtualization needs.
  • Solaris Administration: Conduct system administration duties similar to Linux, including support and troubleshooting.
  • Solaris Clustering and Virtualization: Manage clustering and virtualization technologies specific to Solaris environments.
  • Oracle RAC: Support and maintain Oracle Real Application Clusters.
  • High Availability Solutions: Design and implement solutions to ensure system uptime.

Windows Administration: Perform system administration activities for Windows environments, including management and troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Unix/Linux/Windows Certification is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with VMWare is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) practices.
  • Knowledge of Moogsoft and AIOps.
  • Understanding of Network Concepts and SAN (Storage Area Networks).

This position requires working in a 24/7 support model, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
