Role: Senior Oracle EBS Consultant

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and sustain Oracle Project Costing and Fixed Assets modules to align with both technical and operational needs.
  • Implement and provide ongoing support for Oracle E-Business Suite solutions, including enhancements and system upgrades within the Procure-to-Pay process.
  • Engage with finance, procurement, project management, and IT departments to collect and articulate technical and business requirements.
  • Create and execute testing strategies to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Deliver technical assistance and training to end-users to promote effective use of Oracle modules.
  • Monitor system performance and resolve issues promptly to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Assist in generating financial reports pertaining to project costs and fixed asset management.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant accounting standards.
  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of best practices in project costing and fixed asset oversight.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience with Oracle Project Costing and Fixed Assets modules.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Project Accounting budgetary control (Encumbrance accounting).
  • Strong technical acumen in Oracle E-Business Suite (R12 or later).
  • Proven experience in the development, configuration, implementation, and support of Oracle Financial modules.
  • Comprehensive understanding of project accounting principles and fixed asset accounting.
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Oracle certification in relevant modules is preferred.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with additional Oracle Financial modules (IPPO, AP, GL, AR).
  • Knowledge of integration processes with other Oracle modules.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions.
  • Additional certifications in related fields.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, SharePoint, and similar platforms.
