About the Role

The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the Senior Community Care of North Carolina PACE organization. This includes directing staff to ensure efficient and effective PACE operations, meeting participant needs, and achieving organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Oversees and directs staff to ensure efficient and effective PACE operations.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Assures compliance with all PACE regulations, collaborating with the VP of Compliance and Excellence and Regional Quality and Compliance Team.
  • Financial Management: Assures financial solvency and achievement of financial performance, collaborating with the Director, Health Plan Operations.
  • Enrollment and Quality: Assures achievement of enrollment goals, collaborating with Community Outreach and VP, Strategic Partnerships.
  • Quality Improvement: Develops an annual Quality Plan, reports metrics to internal resources, external regulators, and governing bodies, and executes action plans to meet quality standards.
  • Interdisciplinary Team Functioning: Maintains PACE Model fidelity and successful participant outcomes through effective interdisciplinary team functioning.
  • Primary Care Systems: Collaborates with the Regional Clinical Care Consultant and other Regional Executives to utilize emergency, hospital, outpatient, and pharmacy services, and accurate diagnostic coding for Medicare reimbursement.
Requirements
  • Management Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of management experience, preferably in healthcare management/administration.
  • Experience with Frail or Elderly Population: A minimum of one-year (1) experience in working with the frail or elderly population, or equivalent experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school in human services related field, health care management/administration, or nonprofit/public administration preferred.
  • Driver's License and Insurance: Must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and means of transportation.
  • Medical Clearance: Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact.
