What are we seeking in our Operations Manager for the United States?
A prominent global technology firm is in search of a Contract Ad Operations Specialist.
Location: Remote with hybrid options available.
Contract Duration: 1 Year
Compensation: $40-50 per hour
As an Ad Operations Specialist, your role will be pivotal in supporting the US advertising sector by assisting partners in launching search and display campaigns. You will collaborate closely with Partner Managers to ensure that critical campaigns meet their marketing goals within our advertising platforms. The ideal candidate will possess extensive ad operations experience, particularly in managing sponsored products and search campaigns, alongside a broad understanding of display activation and strategy.
In this position, strong communication skills, cross-channel collaboration, and operational execution are essential. The right candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for the media industry, stay informed about the dynamic media landscape, and provide ongoing insights and recommendations. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment focused on brand direct and programmatic media performance and operations is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee comprehensive campaign setup, ad trafficking, quality assurance, and troubleshooting.
- Continuously monitor and enhance campaign performance to achieve marketing KPIs.
- Act as a brand direct media expert, managing a high volume of campaigns across ad servers and programmatic platforms.
- Implement multi-tier campaigns utilizing various buying strategies.
- Assist the US Ad Operations Manager in coordinating the offshore operational team.
- Engage in cross-functional team initiatives to improve processes, workflows, and advertising growth.
- Manage substantial Performance Marketing budgets effectively.
- Demonstrate proficiency in digital campaign management fundamentals, including media planning, budget oversight, targeting, and bidding.
- Adopt a proactive approach to campaign management, swiftly identifying underperforming campaigns and proposing effective solutions.
- Communicate and identify opportunities that enhance business growth impact.
- Experience with ROAS performance marketing frameworks and familiarity with AdTech, measurement strategies, and optimization techniques.
Qualifications:
- A degree in business administration or equivalent experience in advertising or media and creative agencies.
- At least 3 years of experience in Ad Operations, AdTech, or digital advertising within a data-driven, tech-savvy organization.
- Expertise in managing sponsored products campaigns.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with CRM systems.
- A minimum of 4 years of operational experience in a creative or media agency, media provider, or large advertiser.
- Experience with GAM and Criteo is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
- Understanding of critical campaign components such as brand safety guidelines, ad viewability, and filtering for suspicious media activity.
- A customer-centric approach, passionate about creating exceptional user experiences.
- Ability to adapt quickly and balance priorities in a fast-paced environment.
