- Culinary Expertise
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of culinary trends, techniques, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and delicious menu offerings.
- Ensure that all menu items are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Operations and Administration
- Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies.
- Monitor and control kitchen expenses, ensuring that they are aligned with the resort's budget and financial goals.
- Partner with the finance team to develop and manage the kitchen's budget and financial plans.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end hospitality or resort setting.
- Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
