Job Summary

The Sous Chef will support the Executive Chef and Director of Culinary Operations in managing the kitchen(s). Responsibilities include promoting and portraying the VIVMEE Values, knowing and adhering to company policies and procedures, and developing new menu options based on seasonal changes and customer demand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Executive Chef and Director of Culinary Operations
  • Develop new menu options
  • Assist with meal planning and preparation
  • Monitor and record inventory
  • Provide support to junior kitchen team members
  • Recruit and train new kitchen team members
  • Create schedules for kitchen staff
  • Adhere to sanitation and safety regulations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices
