Job Overview

We are seeking a Media Planning Manager to oversee our media planning initiatives. This role is pivotal in driving our client's brand strategy and fostering growth in the competitive landscape. You will collaborate closely with both internal teams and clients to ensure the successful execution of media campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of various media channels and coordinate efforts across multiple disciplines.
  • Manage upper funnel media awareness campaigns with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Work alongside creative agencies to ensure alignment on creative assets and account requirements.
  • Develop integrated media plans that are strategic and thoughtful, utilizing a range of channels including Linear/Streaming, Paid Search, Paid Social, Radio/Audio, OOH/DOOH, Programmatic, Print, and Partnerships/Sponsorships.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding media plans and address any inquiries.
  • Analyze local media planning and maintain a strong understanding of the marketplace.
  • Evaluate project timelines and manage daily deliverables efficiently.
  • Conduct competitive landscape analysis and compile insights using agency tools.
  • Oversee a substantial media budget and manage flowcharts effectively.
  • Guide the selection of media channels and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Supervise a Senior Associate, providing mentorship and support.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in media planning.
  • Proven experience in TV, CTV, Social, and digital media planning.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Media Ocean, DDS, Nielsen Ad Intel, Pathmatics, Media Tools, Web Analytics, and Ad Servers.
  • Understanding of national and local sponsorship campaign planning.
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships across teams.
  • Strong numerical skills and comfort working with budgets.
  • Experience in mentoring and training team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in local sponsorship campaign planning.
  • Experience managing junior team members.
  • Background in Sports or Partnerships and Sponsorships.
