Base Compensation
This position offers a minimum starting wage of $17.00 per hour, with the potential for higher pay based on relevant experience.

Role Overview:

As a Cashier (Customer Service Associate), you will serve as the initial and final point of contact for customers at Floor & Decor. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver outstanding customer service by welcoming customers, processing transactions, managing product returns, executing basic cash office duties, and ensuring each customer enjoys a remarkable shopping experience. Both Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome every customer in a friendly and respectful manner.
  • Engage with customers, inquire about their projects, suggest our products, and generate excitement about their purchases.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service that surpasses expectations.
  • Adhere to the company's safety protocols.
  • Act in alignment with the company's core values.
  • Handle customer transactions at the checkout using the point of sale (POS) system.
  • Process refunds and exchanges in accordance with established policies.
  • Open and close cash registers.
  • Follow procedures for cash, check, and credit card transactions.
  • Answer phone calls following company standards.
  • Restock, label, and display merchandise as needed.
  • Create price tags and promotional signage.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Basic math skills required
  • Experience in customer service preferred
  • Willingness to travel to other locations for support as needed.
Work Environment:
  • This role may involve exposure to a warehouse setting and moving vehicles. The typical noise level is moderate.
Physical Requirements:
  • Medium Work - Ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Frequent use of hands and fingers is required, along with occasional standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and bending.

Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
