The Boeing Company is currently in search of a talented and driven Junior Aircraft Structures Technician to become a part of our workforce.

In this capacity, you will be integral to the production and maintenance operations, offering support across various domains.


Key Responsibilities:
Ability to execute precise drilling, reaming, removal, and installation tasks on critical support structures and fracture-sensitive areas.

Understanding of locating blind holes essential for the installation of new structural components onto existing frameworks.Perform tasks related to sealing, painting, shimming, and preserving structures according to standard repair protocols.Demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering schematics, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements for structural modifications and repairs.Utilize tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot-level modifications and repairs of structural components.Apply specialized aircraft tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, and sheet metal brakes and shears.Access aircraft data through computer systems and initiate online parts and discrepancy requests.Navigate vertical work ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift loads of approximately 35 pounds.Adapt to various shifts and/or an alternate baseline schedule that may frequently change to meet mission needs, including weekends and holidays.

Mission demands may necessitate both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.Familiarity with Hazardous Energy and Lock Out/Tag systems to ensure a safe working environment for task execution.This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the designated location. This role necessitates the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is mandatory.
Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are essential for this position.
This role requires the ability to pass an assessment during the training phase.
Compliance with SA Site Tool and FOD procedures is required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
4+ years of experience working with non-porous metals, including aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel.4+ years of experience interpreting schematics, specifications, assembly drawings, and standard operating procedures.4+ years of experience utilizing structural hand tools such as:
drills at 45 and 90 degrees, pancake adapters, countersink cages, hole finders, and rivet guns.4+ years of experience handling heavy structures: locating, drilling, countersinking, and fastening structures (doublers, stringers, webs, seat tracks, etc.) to aircraft.Must be able to work various shifts.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Experience with Depot Level/Heavy Structures maintenance.Experience working on or around Executive Fleet Platforms.Ability to operate a forklift, mobile crane, and riding-type electric powered elevating equipment to complete work assignments.

TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED and typically 4+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Summary Pay Rate:
$71,760.Additive Pay:

$1.00/hourly for Airframe Certification.$1.00/hourly for Powerplant Certification.$3.00/hr.

Current Yankee White Access – $25K Sign-On Bonus.$10k signing bonus available for military veterans with the following experience:Army (15G Aircraft Structural Repairer) with 5 or more years of experience.Navy (AM: Aviation Structural Mechanic) with 5 or more years of experience.Air Force (2A7X3: Aircraft Structural Maintenance) with 5 or more years of experience.Marines (6092 Aircraft Intermediate Level Structures Mechanic) with 5 or more years of experience.
