The Boeing Company is currently in search of a proficient and enthusiastic Associate Structures Mechanic to contribute to our operations. In this capacity, you will be integral to the production and maintenance functions, providing essential support across various domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute precise drilling, reaming, and installation tasks on critical support structures and fracture-sensitive areas.
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify blind holes necessary for the integration of new structural components into existing frameworks.
  • Conduct sealing, painting, shimming, and preservation of structures following standard repair protocols.
  • Exhibit proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements for structural modifications and repairs.
  • Utilize tooling assemblies and fixtures for the modification and repair of structural components at the depot level.
  • Employ specialized aircraft tools including test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, and sheet metal tools.
  • Access aircraft data through computer systems and initiate online parts and discrepancy requests.
  • Navigate vertical work ladders, operate in confined spaces, and lift loads of approximately 35 pounds.
  • Adapt to various shifts and/or alternate schedules that may frequently change to meet operational needs, including weekends and holidays.
  • Understand and apply Hazardous Energy and Lock Out/Tag Out systems to maintain a safe working environment.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Security Clearance: This role requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, necessitating U.S. Citizenship.

Access Requirements: Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Assessment Requirement: Candidates must pass an assessment during the training cycle.

Compliance: Adherence to SA Site Tool and FOD procedures is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience with non-porous metals such as aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel.
  • 4+ years of experience interpreting schematics, specifications, assembly drawings, and standard operating procedures.
  • 4+ years of experience using structural hand tools including drills, countersink cages, and rivet guns.
  • 4+ years of experience with heavy structures, including locating, drilling, and fastening components to aircraft.
  • Availability to work various shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Depot Level/Heavy Structures maintenance.
  • Familiarity with Executive Fleet Platform operations.
  • Capability to operate forklifts, mobile cranes, and electric powered elevating equipment.

Typical Education/Experience:
A high school diploma or GED with typically 4+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Summary Pay Rate: $71,760

Additive Pay:

$1.00/hourly for Airframe Certification

$1.00/hourly for Powerplant Certification

$3.00/hr. increase upon receiving Special Program Access clearance

Incentive Pay:

  • Current Yankee White Access – $25K Sign-On Bonus
  • $10k signing bonus available for military veterans with relevant experience.

Export Control Requirements: This position must comply with U.S. Government Export Control regulations.
