VC-25B Structures Mechanic
*Job Description
We are looking for skilled structures mechanics to contribute to the VC-25B Program. Your primary responsibilities will include the maintenance, repair, and modification of aircraft structures and associated components of moderate complexity. This encompasses various systems such as flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical assemblies.

Utilizing your technical expertise in airframe and power plant systems, you will diagnose equipment malfunctions and restore operational condition.

A comprehensive understanding of technical documentation, including blueprints and manufacturers' manuals, is essential for addressing moderate to complex challenges.

Hard Skills
+ Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with heavy aircraft structures+ Proficient in close tolerance drilling, reaming, and component installation+ Familiarity with aircraft repair methodologies and parts replacement+ Extensive knowledge of aircraft sheet metal and structural modifications+ Experience with specialized aircraft tools, including test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, and sheet metal brakes+ Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, and process specifications+ Competence in utilizing computer systems for accessing work instructions and training materials+ Capability to operate forklifts, mobile cranes, and electric elevating equipmentSoft Skills

This is a contract role with a duration of 9 months.Work Site
This position is fully on-site.Work Environment
The role involves working in confined spaces, climbing vertical ladders, lifting loads of approximately 35 pounds, and using personal protective equipment. You will encounter noise and elevated platforms, and must pass visual acuity and color perception assessments. Handling hazardous materials and maintaining necessary certifications is required. Variable shifts, including 1st and 2nd shifts, may be necessary based on operational needs.
