Job Overview:
This role involves precision tasks in aircraft structural assembly and maintenance. The selected candidate will be responsible for executing close tolerance drilling and installations in critical structural areas of aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conducting precise drilling and installation tasks in essential aircraft structural zones.
2. Utilizing computer systems within a production environment.
3. Employing calibrated precision measuring instruments.
4. Demonstrating proficiency with various fastener removal tools and techniques.
5. Working with composite materials, aluminum, and titanium for structural tasks including drilling, sanding, and trimming.
6. Interpreting technical work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
7. Operating mechanical lifts and various structural assembly hand tools and air tools.
8. Performing quality inspections of work and checking for foreign object debris (FOD).

Physical Requirements:
This position requires:
- Climbing and balancing on ladders and scaffolding.
- Crawling and crouching in confined spaces.
- Working around energized sources and exposure to noise.
- Reading from screens and printed documents.
- Adhering to safety standards and compliance regulations.
- Lifting and carrying weights between 10-35 pounds.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical or mechanical field using basic hand tools.
- At least 6 years of experience in aircraft structural parts fabrication and assembly processes.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with structural repair operations related to the C-17 Airplane Program.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in aircraft structural and mechanical work.
- Enrollment in a manufacturing-related academic program partnered with Boeing.

Education:
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required.

Shift Information:
- This position is designated for the second shift.

Work Environment:
- This role requires 100% onsite presence.
