Job Title: Vice President, Client Services Representative

At Oaktree Capital Management, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Client Services Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Client Services department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our clients and ensuring their needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Marketing representatives to manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for servicing large institutional relationships.
  • Monitor client engagement and proactively identify ways to ensure optimal levels of client engagement.
  • Respond to inquiries and determine proactive ways to increase client engagement.
  • Serve as the point of escalation for client issues.
  • Organize and lead client review and diligence meetings.
  • Oversee client onboarding activities.
  • Partner closely with Marketing to lead or support the Investment Due Diligence process.
  • Understand key clients' investment goals, allocations, and current manager make-up and new searches.
  • Build relationships with main contacts for both investments and operations at key client organizations.
  • Assist with presentations and proposals for cross-strategy, multi-strategy, or strategic partnership opportunities.
  • Coordinate and/or create presentations for cross-selling, multi-strategy, or strategic partnership opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role within the financial services industry.
  • Solid foundation in investor servicing and investment finance concepts.
  • Prior client-facing and sales-support experience.
  • Highly resourceful and able to exercise superior judgment regarding investor requests.
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Series 7 and 63 licensed (or ability to obtain on an expedited basis).
